Terms of Service
1. The service
SpotlightMRR is a pay-for-placement directory. Startups pay a bid to be listed; rank is decided by effective power.
2. Ranking & decay
Effective power = bid × 0.95 for each day since the listing went live (5% daily decay). Rank can change at any moment as power decays or others bid.
3. Outbidding
Bidding is live 24/7. Taking #1 requires at least the current #1's power + $5 (any amount from $1 when the throne is empty). Other bids start at $1. Listed startups can Boost at any time: the boost is added to their current power and the decay clock restarts.
4. Seasons
Each season ends Sunday 23:59 UTC. The #1 listing at that moment is recorded in the Hall of Fame. Listings continue into the next season.
5. Payments & refunds
All bids are final and non-refundable once a listing is live, including when you are outbid. Payments are processed by Dodo Payments.
6. No guarantees
We do not guarantee traffic, clicks, sales, or time at any position. Listing is not an endorsement.
7. Prohibited listings
No scams, malware, adult content, gambling, illegal goods, hate speech, or infringing products. We may remove such listings without refund.
8. Changes
We may update these terms; the version on this page applies.
